“You may not be able to control all of the events that happen to you but you can decide not to be reduced by them” Maya Angellou
I will work with what you want to work with in counselling. No problem is too small and the list of things you can bring to counselling is endless:
- Bereavement or loss
- Divorce
- Childhood experiences
- Relationship difficulties
- Trauma
- Health issues
- Work problems
- Stress
Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what the problem is, and you just feel overwhelmed with feelings.
- Anger
- Depression
- Anxiety
- guilt
- sadness
Or you may wish to look at behaviours that are bothering you
- addictions
- eating habits
- panic attacks
- self-harm
You are a unique individual. What you bring to counselling, and what unfolds in our sessions will be unique to your own experiences and feelings.
I work directly with you and you will deal with me from start to finish. You and I decide how many sessions you would like and we can review this on a regular basis.
Our work will be confidential and my notes will not go on your GP records. You will have a choice about what information I hold about you.
This is about you.
